Hamels Suing Over Victoria's Secret Show

What red-blooded American wouldn't want to attend the annual Victoria's Secret show, especially with VIP status?

Well, Rangers ace Cole Hamels is no different than you or I, and he claims in a lawsuit filed recently that he paid $70,000 for a VIP package for three to last year's show in New York. He's now suing Cornucopia Events, the company that organized the event featuring people like Tom Brady's wife.

According to the Associated Press, the suit, which was filed on Friday in Philadelphia, says Hamels paid $70,000 to cover a four-night stay in a luxury hotel, a limousine with champagne, access to exclusive restaurants and goodie bags.

The suit alleges Hamels and his party got none of the perks and were denied entry to the event.

It might seem a bit Hollywood (Hamels' nickname is, indeed, Hollywood) but if it's all true, it's a pretty crummy deal for the Rangers pitcher. He's suing for $150,000 for fraud and misrepresentation.
